Perrysburg Schools Foundation invites the community to a special presentation Wednesday, March 4, 2026, in the auditorium of Perrysburg Junior High School, located at 550 E. South Boundary St. Perrysburg, Ohio, by Holocaust Survivor Helen Marks, who was hidden as a child during the Holocaust and has devoted her life to educating younger generations about the importance of remembrance, resilience, and compassion.
Ms. Marks will share her personal account of survival and the individuals and circumstances that helped keep her safe during one of the darkest periods in world history. A Q&A and brief reception will follow.
This community event is held in conjunction with Ms. Marks’ daytime visit with about 400 Perrysburg Junior High School 8th graders as part of the English Language Arts Holocaust unit. Students spend several weeks studying survivor testimony, literature, and historical context, building toward these firsthand learning experiences.
Due to the overwhelming response, registration is required by Friday, February 20, 2026. To register, fill out the form at the following link with name, number of attendees, and email address: https://bit.ly/psf-hm. Attendees will receive a QR code ticket by email prior to the event which will be required for entry.
