The Perrysburg High School Girls Basketball program is calling all former Yellow Jackets back to the court! As she begins her first season as PHS Girls Varsity Basketball Coach, Miriam Roe is looking to strengthen connections between current players and the alumni who helped shape the program’s proud tradition.
From reconnecting with former teammates to inspiring the next generation of players, there are several exciting opportunities for alumni to get involved this season!
Connect with a Current Player – November 5
On Thursday, November 5, the PHS Girls Basketball team will host a phone-a-thon fundraiser from 6-7pm, inviting alumni to connect with current players, share memories, and support the program.
More than just a fundraiser, the event will help players develop valuable communication skills while learning from the experiences of former Yellow Jackets.
Funds raised will support team meals, team bonding activities, strength and agility programs, and other opportunities that help build a strong, connected team.

Support the Next Generation of Yellow Jackets
Can’t take a call but still want to support the team? Alumni, families, and community members are invited to make a gift to help provide meaningful experiences for current players.
Thanks to the support of Perrysburg Schools Foundation, 100% of funds raised will directly benefit the PHS Girls Basketball program!
Save the Date: Girls Basketball Alumni Game – December 18
The celebration continues on Friday, December 18, when former players are invited back for the PHS Girls Basketball Alumni Game!
Alumni will be recognized at halftime of the Varsity game, followed by a post-game social at Sidelines Sports Eatery & Pub. It’s a great opportunity to reconnect with former teammates, share memories, and celebrate the tradition of Perrysburg Girls Basketball.
All former players are encouraged to RSVP to receive event details and updates.
Once a Jacket, Always a Jacket!
Whether you played recently or decades ago, you’re forever part of the Yellow Jacket basketball family. Coach Roe hopes alumni will take advantage of these opportunities to reconnect, share their experiences, and help inspire the next generation of PHS Girls Basketball players.
