The Perrysburg Schools Foundation proudly celebrated the dedication, passion, and impact of Perrysburg Schools educators and staff during the 40th Annual PSF Recognition Banquet, held at the Hilton Garden Inn. The evening honored the individuals who help shape the future of Perrysburg students every day through exceptional teaching, leadership, and service.
The banquet theme — “Plant, Grow, Give” — reflected the lasting influence educators have on students and the community. Throughout the evening, school leaders recognized staff members whose work exemplifies excellence, compassion, and commitment to student success.
In opening remarks, PSF President Amy Luck thanked educators and staff for the countless ways they support students beyond the classroom.
“Tonight is a celebration of what makes Perrysburg Schools so exceptional — our students, and the teachers, staff, families, and community members who support and inspire them every day.”
The following educators and staff members were recognized as Outstanding Educators and Professionals for the 2025-2026 school year:
- Perrysburg High School Outstanding Educator: Karen Kinzig
- Perrysburg Junior High Outstanding Educator: Jennifer Krueger
- Hull Prairie Intermediate Outstanding Educator: Tony Ferrara
- Fort Meigs Elementary Outstanding Educator: Michelle Predmore
- Frank Elementary Outstanding Educator: Katie Freels
- Toth Elementary Outstanding Educator: Julie Gerken
- Woodland Elementary Outstanding Educator: Emily Bagdonas
- Perrysburg Preschool Outstanding Educator: Samantha DeWood
Additional district honors included:
- Outstanding Support Staff Award: Sherry Slocum
- Outstanding Paraprofessional Award: Mary Dudley
- George C. Munger & Elizabeth M. Munger Outstanding Educator Award: Becky Cotterman
During the ceremony, Perrysburg Schools Superintendent Dr. Kadee Anstadt reflected on the profound and lasting influence educators have on students and communities.
“The lessons, the encouragement, the second chances — those don’t always show their impact right away. But years later… someone remembers and speaks that teacher’s name aloud. Few professions have the honor of planting the number of trees that teachers plant.”
The Perrysburg Schools Foundation also recognized the work of the Foundation Board, Scholarship Committee, Events Committee, and the Office of Development & Alumni Relations for helping make the evening possible.
The 40th Annual Recognition Banquet served as both a celebration and a reminder of the critical role educators and staff play in preparing students to succeed long after graduation.
