Grants in Action | 2024/2025 School Year
The Jacket Way at Perrysburg Schools is a district-wide initiative that focuses on promoting positive behavior and creating a supportive learning environment. It is built around the principles of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), an evidence-based, tiered framework for supporting students’ behavioral, academic, social, emotional, and mental health. The Jacket Way emphasizes the Three R’s – being respectful, responsible, and ready, ensuring that students know what is expected of them in various school settings, such as classrooms, hallways, and playgrounds.
The Jacket Way is implemented, taught, and reinforced across all grade levels and schools (PreK-12). Each school utilizes common language to create a set of expectations that are appropriate for their students.
Thanks to the investment of our donors, Perrysburg Schools Foundation is proud to support the Jacket Way Program by providing funds for each school’s Jacket Way Team to use for rewards and experiences for students.
You’re invited to make a gift today to support initiatives like this!
